Georges Bou-Saab earned his PhD in Civil Engineering (primary focus in Transportation Engineering) and a co-major in Environmental Engineering from Iowa State University. He is currently working as a transportation engineer at Arcadis, a global consulting and design firm. His research expertise included a wide range of topics: traffic safety and operations, transportation sustainability and naturalistic driving studies. Georges served as a vice-chair of the Air and Waste Management Association Sustainability TCC and the chair of the K-12 Environmental Education Council from 2017 until 2020. He is appointed as the chair of the K-12 Environmental Education Council and vice-chair of the Transportation Policies and Land Use TCC.
