David J. Long, P.E. is an Environmental Engineer - Staff in the Air Quality Services Section of the American Electric Power Service Corporation in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Long has over 40 years of experience in various aspects of environmental management and compliance in the utility industry. He is currently responsible for corporate support of air quality compliance and permitting activities at company facilities in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio as well as serving as the Subject Matter Expert on air quality modeling for AEP. He is active on utility industry committees in the area of ambient air quality and air quality modeling issues. Mr. Long holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the West Virginia Institute of Technology and a Masters Degree in Environmental Studies from the West Virginia College of Graduate Studies. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana.
