This event is a celebration of 25 years of the ESA-SEEDS program. The Strategies for Ecology Education, Diversity and Sustainability program (SEEDS) is the flagship award-winning education program of the Ecological Society of America. Its mission is to diversify and advance the ecology profession through opportunities that stimulate and nurture the interest of underrepresented students to participate, and to lead in ecology. Since 1996 the program has provided hands on experiences to 2,000+ students, hosted 73 travel experiences, and has established SEEDS Chapters at over 115+ institutions across the US.
