This session will review important variables (weight, gender and skeletal facial patterns) that impact severity of OSA and how OSA can affect cardiovascular changes. The audience also will learn more about DISE in adults and children from a variety of speakers and experts from different fields of sleep medicine and surgery.

Discuss the influence of obesity on upper airway anatomy in patients with OSA.
Describe the differences in sleep patterns and sleep studies between males and females.
Identify age and racial differences when assessing cardiovascular risks in patients with OSA.
