SS08 - Minimally Invasive Grafting and Augmentation of Atrophic Ridges

The continuum of evidence-based surgical management using minimally invasive techniques for horizontal augmentation will be presented, including prevention, the role of graft materials, amnion/chorion, biologics, transgingival healing, ridge expansion along with open flap and tunnel grafting. Technological advances to enhance comprehensive diagnosis, planning and dynamic navigation as well as smaller-implant designs have proven highly effective in minimally invasive therapies. CBCT diagnosis of the residual bone and soft-tissue defects direct treatment planning and technique selection.
