Dr. Grau, a Cincinnati native, is the current Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program Director at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville after completion of undergraduate studies at Ohio University. A Board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Grau received his advanced training in OMS at the University of Cincinnati. Following residency Dr. Grau served eight years of active duty in the United States Navy achieving the rank of Commander before receiving an Honorable discharge. While on active duty he served in diverse roles including department head aboard USS George Washington CVN-73 and Assistant Residency Program Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Naval Medical Center San Diego. Dr. Grau enjoys practicing a broad scope of OMS with a special interest in implantology, trauma and reconstruction.
