Dr. Wrzosek is in a full time academic position as an Assistant Professor in the division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Loytola University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. He is also a staff oral surgeon at the Edward Hines VA Hospital. Dr. Wrzosek completed his undergraduate degree in mechanical and bioengineering at the Univeristy of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and earned his DMD at Havard Univeristy School of Dental Medicine. He earned his MD at Harvard Medical School, and completed residency in Oral & Maxillfoacial Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a Diplomate of the ABOMS. Dr. Wrzosek also served on active duty in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps with tours of duty overseas and stateside, and after completion of residency training has continued to serve in the Navy Reserves, where he currently holds the rank of Commander, and is the Officer in Charge of NMRTC Bethesda detachment stationed at Great Lakes, IL. He has also taught clinical oral surgery as adjunct faculty at Midwestern University College of Dentistry. He is on the AO North America Faculty, and also serves on the board, and as current President of the Chicago Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of AAOMS, ACOMS, ACS, and ADSA.
