Matthias Troeltzsch, MD, DMD, PhD is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon from Germany. He studied dentistry and medicine at the universities of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Munich and Rochester (NY, USA) and underwent his surgical training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University Hospital of the LMU Munich under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dr. Michael Ehrenfeld. He received his board certification in 2017 and completed a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery in 2019. His main research interest are innovative risk analysis concepts for oral squamous cell carcinoma and maxillofacial bone pathologies.
