Dr. Champion is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMS) who has been practicing at the Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania since 2011, where he also serves as the Assistant Program Director and an Assistant Professor in the Sydney Kimmel Medical College. He is actively involved in teaching medical students and oral and maxillofacial surgery residents, and is a director of anesthesia simulation education within the OMS department. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. His interests include ambulatory anesthesia education, clinical anesthesia research, bone regeneration procedures, obstructive sleep apnea surgery, and orthognathic surgery.
