Brendan Matthews, DMD, is a PGY-4 Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Resident at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Brendan grew up in Wilmington, DE. He attended Vanderbilt University for college and went on to study at Temple University's Kornberg School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Brendan then completed a General Practice Residency at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester, NY, followed by an internship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Drexel University's Hahnemann Hospital. Brendan started residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in 2018, where he curently serves as a chief resident.
