Mohamed Hakim, DDS, is a clinical assistant professor at the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Michigan. Dr. Hakim graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 2013. He then completed his OMS internship at University of Connecticut Health Center, his residency at MedStar Washington Hospital Center followed by a two-year endoscopic maxillofacial surgery fellowship program at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard School of Dental Medicine with focus on advanced TMJ arthroscopy. His clinical interests include advanced temporomandibular joint arthroscopy, orthognathic surgery and minimally invasive/endoscopic maxillofacial surgery.
