Jean-Charles Doucet, DMD, MD, MSc, FRCDC, obtained his MD/MSc in OMFS at Dalhousie followed by a cleft craniofacial fellowship at the University of Montpellier-1, France. He is Assistant Professor at Dalhousie University and an active staff at Nova Scotia Health and a surgeon of the Cleft and Craniofacial team at the IWK Health, Halifax, Canada. Dr. Doucet has numerous peer-reviewed publications and his research interests focus on the fuctional primary repair of the cleft lip nasal deformity, early alveolar bone grafting, and cleft distraction osteogenesis.
