Kevin Arce DMD, MD, FACS is a Consultant and Chair of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Arce is originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico where he attended the University of Puerto Rico for his undergraduate studies. He obtained his dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry and a certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and medical degree from Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education and Mayo Medical School respectively. Following his residency, Dr. Arce completed a fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at Legacy Emanuel Hospital, a Master of Clinical Research at Oregon Health & Science University and a Master of Academic Medicine from the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine.
Dr. Arce practices oral and maxillofacial surgery with an emphasis on head and neck pathology and reconstruction. His research interests include functional and clinical outcomes in maxillofacial oncologic and reconstructive surgery, factors that influence surgical education and the impact of computer aided design/modeling and 3D anatomical models on surgical education and patient care.
