Mr. William C. Passolt is President and CEO of OMSNIC and its subsidiaries, Fortress Insurance Company and The River Agency. Mr. Passolt joined OMSNIC in 1992 as its Vice President, Finance. Prior to joining the Company, he was a Senior Manager with Arthur Andersen LLP. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Drake University. Mr. Passolt is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has been a Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Foundation since 2015, serving as its Treasurer and Vice Chair prior to being elected Chair in 2019. Mr. Passolt was made an AAOMS Honorary Fellow in 2019. He has served as a Director of the Eastman Dental Center Foundation since 2013 and is currently chair of the Audit Committee. Mr. Passolt has been a Director of Fortress since 1997 and of OMSNIC since 2000. He has also served as a Director of The River Agency since 2015. Mr. Passolt is past chair of the Medical Professional Liability Association’s Leadership Camp Section and the Technology, Human Resources and Finance Section. He currently serves as a member of the MPL Association’s CEO Section. In 2021, Mr. Passolt received the MPL Association’s Award of Excellence in Honor of Peter Sweetland.
