Assistant Director of Nursing

Dr. McNeil is the Assistant Director of Nursing at Howard Community College (HCC). She is the chair of the Health Science Division Retention Committee, and Nurse Education Program Retention Committee at HCC. She is also a member of the HCC Retention Committee. She received her doctorate degree from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. McNeil completed her doctoral practicum at the National Institute of Health (NIH) with the nursing outcomes management department. She was awarded the NIH Clinical Center Directors Award for Nursing Leadership. Dr. McNeil has been a nurse educator for 15 years. As a nursing faculty member, she has taught in associate, baccalaureate, and graduate degree programs. Her special interest includes quality improvement, student success, and faculty mentoring. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and Chi Eta Phi Nursing Sorority.
