Chun Chung (Jack) Tse is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Queensborough Community College. He is a proud graduate of their nursing program and is humbled to return as faculty to teach the next generation of nurses. Jack has served in the public and private sector at the bedside in various roles from staff nurse to clinical coordinator. He precepted many nursing students, new graduates, and experienced nurses in med/surg and critical care along the way. There he found his passion for teaching and have transitioned to his current academic role.
Prior to this transition, Jack worked at Bellevue Hospital Center in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). He was part of the Special Pathogen Unit and served as part of the response team during the Ebola Virus outbreak. Jack’s passion for medical/surgical nursing has led him to achieve a certification in critical care (CCRN). He is also a strong advocate for patient centered care and was a proud recipient of The Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses.
