Randelle Sasa is an assistant professor of Nursing at Queensborough Community College of the City University of New York. Prior to his teaching appointment, Randelle worked at Bellevue Hospital Center in the Medical Intensive Care Unit, and part of the Special Pathogens Response Team that served during the Ebola Virus Disease outbreak. Randelle is a board-certified registered nurse (RN-BC), certified Med-Surg Nurse (CMSRN), and a certified critical care nurse (CCRN). Prior to immigrating to the US, Randelle also worked as an ICU nurse at the Philippine General Hospital, and a lecturer at the Far Eastern University – Institute of Nursing in Manila. Randelle is a scholar, researcher and published author. He presented in conferences in the US and internationally. Randelle received Fellowship at the Asian American Pacific Island Nurses Association in 2015 and was inducted as a Nurse Leader at Sigma Theta Tau Alpha Phi Chapter (Hunter College) in 2018.
