Dr. Jennifer Fritzges has over 20 years’ experience in trauma/intensive care, pediatrics, lactation, and nursing education. She received her BSN from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing, MSN from Benedictine University, and DNP from Duquesne University. Jennifer is the Assistant Director, Allied Health and a Professor of Nursing at Carroll Community College in Westminster, MD. In the eleven years she has been teaching, there has been a shift in the focus of clinical education from more skill based, to leading students to gain the ability of critical thinking at point-of-care. Jennifer has been a clinical faculty mentor for nine years and is now the clinical coordinator as well as an Associate-to- Bachelor’s coordinator for the nursing program. Jennifer also serves as a member of the Maryland Nurse Residency Consortium Statewide Partnership Taskforce and on the Maryland Action Coalition. She serves as the current chair of the OADN Research Committee.
