There are many teaching methods, hybrid, online, active, flipped, and scrambled, to name a few. To develop high-level thinking in nurses, there needs to be one foundational pedagogy that includes clinical judgment. The NCSBN CJMM provides a base that you build your teaching on. Allowing students to be exposed to an iterative process of the NCJMM will build a habit of decision-making that will improve safety at the bedside and client outcomes.
