Kristen Etten is both a Neonatal Nurse Practitoner and Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She is also an Assistant Professor in the Loretto Heights School of Nursing at Regis University here in Denver Colorado.
Kristen has a passion for taking care of neonatal patients and feels greatful she gets to do what she loves for the rest of her life. She is passionate about educating future practitioners and combining the concept that Neonatal Nurse Practitoners are truly both acute and primary care practitioners that provided care to the most vulnerable patients and their familys for weeks to months to years during their time in the NICU.
She hopes to communicate her unique experience as a seasoned pediatric practitioner, who started as a novice Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, and currently educates future neonatal nurse practitioner students, and how the a neonatal fellowship made her role transition a postive experience.
