Allyson Stevens, MSN, APRN, CNS, NNP-BC is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, NNP Education Team member and serves as a NNP Fellowship Coordinator at Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO). She has over 20 years of clinical experience including practicing in Level II, III and IV NICUs. Her many professional interests include; clinical education, mentorship in the clinical and non clinical environment, development and implementation of a preceptorship program, and the APRN transition to practice experience. She is honored to have helped develop the CHCO NNP program in creating an NNP Fellowship, the nation’s first accredited by the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) Practice Transition Accreditation Program (PTAP) with distinction.
