Dr. Costantine is the Frederick P. Zuspan Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Ohio State University, Columbus, OH. He is also an Attending Physician and Division Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He completed his residency in OB GYN at the university of Cincinnati, and fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology with subspecialty board certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a member of the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine, and elected member for the American Gynecologic and Obstetrical Society. He has a long track record in multicenter collaborative clinical and translational research and is currently the Principal Investigator of the NICHD Maternal-Fetal Medicine Units Research Network at the Ohio State University. His research interest is the use of statins in pregnancy to prevent preeclampsia. He has authored more than 125 peer-reviewed papers and many book chapters.
