Linda McCarney, MSN, APRN, NNP-BC is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, NNP Education Team Lead and serves as the NNP Fellowship Director at Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO). She has over 30 years of clinical experience including practicing in Level II, III and IV NICUs and on transport. Her many clinical interests include optimizing newborn resuscitation and she is grateful to have had the opportunity to serve six years on the American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Steering Committee and as an assistant editor of the Textbook of Neonatal Resuscitation, 7th edition. In addition, Linda is interested the APRN transition to practice experience and is honored to have led the CHCO NNP program in creating an NNP Fellowship, the nation’s first accredited by the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) Practice Transition Accreditation Program (PTAP) with distinction. She also serves as Affiliate Faculty for the Regis University NNP program.
