Christa has been a NICU nurse for over 20 years, 10 of which were as a Neonatal Transport Nurse. She is currently the Clinical Nurse Specialist for a 49-bed Level IV NICU and the Fetal Care and Treatment Center team. She was awarded the 2019 Magnet Nurse of the Year for New Knowledge, Innovations & Improvements and the 2021 National Daisy/IHI Award for Extraordinary Nurses in Patient Safety.
