Mary Puntillo, MSN, RNC-NIC, RNC-LRN is the Neonatal Nurse Clinician in a 32-bed Level 3 NICU at Community Hospital in Munster, Indiana. Her major role is to provide the education and maintain the competency level of the staff at the three hospitals within the Community Healthcare System. Mary also teaches parenting classes to new parents and grandparents. Although she began her NICU career nearly 40 years ago, neonates continue to amaze her and serve as a reminder that she has the best job in the world.
