Katie Klausmeier RNC-NIC, BSN is a bedside nurse at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley Colorado. She is currently pursuing her MSN-NNP at Regis University and will graduate in 2022. Katie is passionate about quality improvement and patient safety. In her role, she has worked with teams on standardization of skin-to-skin care in cesarean deliveries, CLABSI prevention, and improved EMR utilization in the NICU. Katie is also highly invested in training and education of new nurses; she is actively involved in precepting new employees and has worked as adjunct faculty for undergraduate nursing students at the University of Northern Colorado.
