My name is Renu Agrawal and i am working as Consultant Pediatric & neonatal Therapist ( Physiotherapist) in Neoclinic Children Hospital which is designated as level III NICU and is largest in Northern India . My favourite part being in NICU team is seeing the difference we make in these babies lives. Our Unit is out born nursery therefore babies are admitted for surgery or life threatening condition for further interevntion . I get to witness better long term Neurodevelopment outcome by providing them intervention in their preliminary stage of their life.
Being a Neonatal Therapist means " Becoming inextricably interwined in babies and families lives & there is NO better Profession" . I love being Neonatal Therapist because NICU babies are the most tenacious little people in the world. They survive things that most adult would not. I am very passionate about health literacy & being able to interact with families & teach them how to care for their babies , to understand what is happening with their babies and is very rewarding.
