Sharon Kirkby, RN, MSN, RNC-NIC, C-ELBW is a staff nurse in a level 3 NICU at Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital. She has been a NICU nurse for over 30 years and was inducted into the Penn Medicine's Distinguished Nurse Clinician Academy in 2016. Sharon is passionate about improving outcomes in the NICU and has led many evidenced-based quality projects within the NICU and the Maternal-Child department. She is a co-chair of the NICU Quality committee and is the lead NICU nurse for the ELGAN population within her unit. Sharon has published over ten manuscripts and presented over 75 abstracts at various national conferences, including many at NANN.
