Kim Fields BSN, RN, CPN, CWOCN has been a passionate pediatric nurse with over 18 years of experience. Her current practice is focused on Pediatric Wound and Ostomy care after she completed her certification in those fields. She is a fulltime WOC nurse at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Kim leads and participates in multiple committees/work groups the Hospital Acquired Conditions group focusing on Pressure Injuries, Skin Resource Staff/training and development. Kim loves to volunteer and travel. She is invested in summer camps including Youth Rally a summer camp for kids with bowel and bladder medial focus for kids 10 to 17 years; she has done over 11 years of camp service. She has travelled internationally to Dominican Republic x4-mobile clinics; Haiti x2 for epidemic nursing/field hospital, Zambia for bush hospital; Chad for teaching in WOCN specialty for nurses, and Bolivia in a boat clinic in the Amazon jungle.
