Ashley Reil, BSN, RNC-NIC, is the Clinical Educator at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. After several years as a clinical nurse on medical-surgical and cardiac step-down units, she decided to pursue her passion and become a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse. She joined MedStar Georgetown in 2013 and has had significant involvement in multiple unit based committees and hospital-wide activities. Ashley has a passion for nursing and truly enjoys the unique opportunity to support new nurses not only in the clinical setting by expanding their knowledge but in supporting these nurses emotionally and mentally through the first few months of their careers and for the many years following. Ashley holds a BS in nursing from Elmira College.
