Susan Arato, BSN, RNC (NICU Core Charge Team, Children's Hospital Colorado) has functioned in multple leadership roles for 33 years within this NICU. Her specialty areas include scheduling and vacation approvals for a large team, hospital wide flu vaccine and mask fit testing, clinical ladder portfolio reviews and the charge RN role. She enjoys mentoring staff to reach their full potential of professional growth, whether at the bedside or beyond. She and her husband are very proud of their young adult children as newly transitioned empty-nesters.
