I have worked in the Neonatal ICU since 1996 to present in various roles as a staff RN, Nurse Manager and Nurse Educator role. I have also worked at a variety of NICU from private to university settings which gave me a great appreciation for the NICU world out there.
I am involved in our local NANN chapter as a Education Committee Chair setting up education topics identified by committee survey needs. I'm additionally on the NANN Healthcare Policy Advocacy Committee, HPAC, on my second term. I have enjoyed traveling to DC,working with Senators and Representatives; and their Helath Care appointed team leaders; working on Neonatal Advocacy; and providing From the Hill to the NICU spotlight education.
