Marilyn Aita is an associate professor at the Faculty of Nursing of the University of Montreal (2008-) and a regular researcher at the research center of the Center hospitalier universitaire de Sainte-Justine under the research axis of fetal-maternal and neonatal pathologies ( 2016-). Since 2018, she has been responsible for the “Care of populations in vulnerable situations” a strategic group within the Quebec Nursing Research Network [RRISIQ]. Her clinical experience as a neonatal nurse has motivated major teaching and research interests in neonatal and perinatal care. More specifically, her research focuses on the development and evaluation of developmental care nursing interventions [SDD] that aim to optimize the neonatal environment in order to promote the neurodevelopment of premature infants hospitalized in intensive care units. neonatal [NICU].
