Francesca M. Leo, BSN, RN, RNC-NIC, IBCLC is a Clinical Nurse Manager in the NICU at NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. She has over 12 years of NICU experience and transitioned from bedside nursing to nursing leadership 5.5 years ago when she moved from Washington, DC to New York City. Over the last year, Francesca has worked diligently to co-lead the NICU’s multidisciplinary Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion group, which aims to regularly discuss DEI topics with the staff as well as address the social determinants of health to improve healthy equity in the NICU. Francesca's passions outside of work include traveling, spa days, baking, and being a full-time auntie!
