In a randomized controlled trial on the use of a conformational
fluidized positioner vs. standard positioning, infants calmed
more easily, showed reduced wakefulness, and were
observed to sleep better. Even neonates with surgical and
gastrointestinal complications showed higher
sleep efficiency.*
