Diaper dermatitis is a common dermatological condition amongst infants and if left untreated, it can cause infection. Our current treatment mainly consists of barrier creams with zinc oxide. However, breast milk has been used across different countries and may provide similar benefits and even be gentler for the premature infant's skin.
