Countless neonatal deaths in developing countries have been associated with inappropriate or poorly practiced newborn care related to inadequately trained staff, knowledge deficits, and lack of quality improvement support and evidenced-based protocols. Neonatal care is a global issue and we must all strive to educate and support the staff caring for this population. This format for education can be used for other countries who also need support to improve the care and limit the mortality of the neonates in developing countries.
