The COVID-19 pandemic required unique strategies to cope and adapt as a neonatal team to continue to provide quality care. A dedicated subject matter expert team of neonatal nurses provided clinical and emotional support to the interprofessional staff. Having dedicated subject matter experts provided standardized dissemination of information and structured emotional support to prevent burnout during a global pandemic.
