Centralized milk preparation processes are a defined best practice in the literature. Operationalizing this best practice requires significant advocacy for organizational resources. Once approved leaders must then develop a work space, work flows and guidelines that are supported by evidence and the approved staffing model. Learnings from one organization can assist other organizations in implementing this important best practice that improves quality outcomes and staff satisfaction and efficiency.
