(1018) More than a Mock: Simulation-based Training to Improve Electronic Documentation during Neonatal Resuscitation

Upon further review from the hospital Quality and Safety department, EMR resuscitation documentation has not been routinely utilized in NICU events. During mock codes in the NICU, a needs assessment determined that lack of familiarity and practice with the tool was the most common barrier to utilizing the EMR documentation. This quality improvement project was completed to determine if further gaps exist and bridge those gaps as deemed appropriate.
