Neonates in an ICU are at high risk for Diaper Dermatitis. This presentation showcases how an interdisciplinary approach and change of products dramatically reduced diaper dermatitis. Utilizing the 5S lean six sigma methodology, our unit has been successful in sustaining this implementation.

Identify methodologies for decreasing diaper dermatitis in the NICU.
Discuss potential barriers in implementing a new algorithm in a large NICU.
List potential of best treatment options used in treatment of diaper dermatitis.
