Linda M. Hartman, MLS, AHIP is the Research Librarian for RQM+, the world's leading regulatory and quality consulting firm focused on medical devices and diagnostics. Linda has more than 20 years experience as a health information professional. She currently advises and assists medical writers with systematic searches to locate clinical articles needed to write Clinical Evaluation Reports in compliance with the EU MDR, a regulation of the European Union on the clinical investigation and sale of medical devices for human use. She also provides instruction on the use of sound searching practices, EndNote, and DistillerSR. While at the University of Pittsburgh, Linda was one of the creators and instructors of the 20 credit workshop "Systematic Review Workshop: The Nuts and Bolts for Librarians". She also provided instruction and assistance to the students, staff, and faculty in the School of Health and Rehabiliation Sciences. Linda also taught several Health Sciences Library System classes. These included "Velcro instruction: 7 techniques to make learning stick"; "Turning lemons into lemonade: making negative research results useful"; "What is the matrix? Managing the literature for your grant application, systematic review, or meta-analysis"; "Literature reviews: what’s your type?"; "EndNote for systematic reviews: are you ready?"
