Lisa K. Traditi, AHIP, was a hospital librarian for nine years in the Denver metro area before joining the faculty of Denison Memorial Library at University of Colorado in 1996. Now, as head of Education and reference at the Health Sciences Library on the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Traditi leads a team who answer more than 6000 questions and deliver about 200 classes a year for students, staff, and faculty. With co-author Jon Crossno, Traditi was Cochair of Quint Essential 2014, the quintuple MLA chapter meeting, held in Denver.
In addition, Traditi is:
A member of the MLA Board of Directors;
Coordinator of Supporting Clinical Care: An Institute in EBM for Medical Librarians, since 2013;
Co-director of the Evidence Based Medicine course in the Physician Assistant curriculum; and
An advisory board member and adjunct faculty for the University of Denver School of Information Science.
