Professional Background:
Jenna joined the Institute on Disability in February 2021 as the Project Coordinator for the UNH-4U Program. Prior to joining the IOD, Jenna worked at the UNH Dimond Library in the Circulation Department. During her time at the library she spearheaded the Library’s Accessibility Team and implemented many projects that improved physical and virtual space. Jenna worked as a research assistant in 2017 for a UNH Professor completing research in disabilities studies in Austria. She has also worked as an art teacher at multiple art studios in the NH seacoast.
During her academic career, she completed a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies Degree at UNH that allowed her to build a graduate program around the theme of accessibility. During her studies she completed two internships. The first was at the UNH Student Accessibility Services Office. The second was at the Currier Museum of Art for her capstone project that focused on museum accessibility. Jenna is passionate about accessibility and assistive technology and eager to find ways to incorporate them into daily life.
