After working as a teacher and school librarian, Erin Ware, MLIS began her career as Reference Librarian at Louisiana State University Health Shreveport in January 2020. She works as the reference librarian at LSU Health Shreveport. She loves working on systematic reviews and meta-analyses and finding new ways to expedite and improve searching and data collection and management for them. Erin is a member of the Louisiana Library Association, the Medical Library Association, the South Central Chapter of the Medical Library Association, and the Health Sciences Library Association of Louisiana. Erin currently serves on the Continuing Education committee for SCC-MLA, the Beatty Volunteer Service Award Jury for MLA, and a contest-planning committee for MLA 2021. She formerly served on the MLA Librarians Without Borders/Elsevier Foundation/Research4Life Grants Jury. In her free time, she is the coach of a kindergarten soccer team and a Little League volunteer.
