David Duggar is the Head of the Library Liaison Program at the LSU Health Shreveport Health Sciences Library in Shreveport, Louisiana. He received his MLIS at LSU, is a Distinguished member of AHIP, and achieved the rank of Librarian/Professor at LSU Health Shreveport, where he has worked for over 25 years, first as a reference librarian and now as Head of the Liaison Program. In addition to being active in the Cancer Librarians Section, Hospital Libraries Section, Nursing and Allied Health Section of MLA, David has been an active member of the South Central Chapter of MLA, Louisiana Library Association, Special Libraries Association, and Health Sciences Library Association of Louisiana.
