Dr. Sangeeta Narang is a Librarian (Selection Grade) at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India having experience of over two and half decades at one place. She has worked at three different settings of the institute- BB Dikshit Library which is the central library of the premiere institute and at the branch libraries - National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC), Ghaziabad and Comprehensive Rural Health Services Project (CRHSP), Ballabgarh. Her current posting is at CRHSP Ballabgarh. Her areas of interest include serving health information needs of students, residents researchers and health professionals; collection development, strengthening medical libraries network in the country, encouraging use of reliable health information, creating awareness about open access, institutional and subject repositories, developing health information resource guides and enhancing health information literacy skills among the students, researchers, librarians, health care professionals and general public. She is a life member of Indian Library Association (ILA) and Medical Library Association of India (MLAI). She has presented papers at various national and international conferences.
