Elizabeth Kiscaden is the Assistant Vice Provost of Library Services at Creighton University, where she leads the Reinert Alumni Memorial Library and Health Sciences Library. Originally from Minnesota, Elizabeth worked at the Mayo Clinic in the Center for Translational Science Activities before relocating to Iowa. Elizabeth started her library career as a solo hospital librarian at Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa. Following this, she served as the Library Director of the Luis V. Hanson Library at Waldorf College before returning to health sciences librarianship. Elizabeth worked at Hardin Library for the Health Sciences at the University of Iowa from 2016 to 2020, first as the Head of Library Services and later as the Associate Director of the Regional Medical Library for the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, established within Hardin Library.
