Stacy F. Posillico, M.L.S., J.D. is the Senior Librarian for the Eastern Region Hospitals of Northwell Health in New York, and an accomplished information research professional, writer, and instructor with over seven years’ experience in special and academic libraries. An emerging technology and digital resource specialist, her passions include dynamic online education delivery, the advancement of librarians as organizational leaders, researchers, and scholars; the promotion of health information literacy; and innovation in hospital library organization. Ms. Posillico has contributed a book chapter to the book, Millennial Leadership in Libraries. She serves as the Secretary of the MLA NY-NJ Chaper, soon to be part of the Liberty Chapter. Ms. Posillico also served as Member at Large on the Liberty Chapter Merger Plan Proposal Committee and is currently active in MLA caucuses and subcommittees. She is the Immediate Past President of MEDLI (Medical & Scientific Libraries of Long Island). She received her M.L.S. with a Certificate of Academic Excellence from St. John's University; graduated with her J.D. receiving outstanding evaluations from Northeastern University School of Law; and received her B.A. summa cum laude with University Honors in Political Science and Justice from American University. She also enjoys baking, yoga, listening to P!nk, and reading with her children. Her favorite book (thus far) is From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E.L. Konigsburg, which she used to loan to her sister, the primary patron of the library she created as a child..
