Sarah Wade, MLS, AHIP, is the Assistant Medical Librarian at the Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine at Campbell University. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in History Education from Mars Hill College in Mars Hill, North Carolina and her Masters in Library Science from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC.
She is a member of NCLA, ALA, MLA, MAC, and the Association of North Carolina Health and Sciences Librarians (ANCHASL). As a member of these organizations, she serves on the MLA Education Steering Committee, Education Domain Hub, MLA ’21 National Planning Committee, NAHRS Essential Nursing Resources list update task force, Contributed Content Work Group for MLA ’21, and is the ANCHASL Social Media Editor.
Sarah and her husband Paul, who is a machinist for Flowserve in Garner, NC, live in Holly Springs, NC with their daughter, Caroline, and doghter, Emma. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband and daughter, reading, playing with Emma, and spending time with her family especially her nieces and nephew.
